Treasure hunt-descriptive writing
1.How different is descriptive writing from narrative writing?
Narrative writing tells a story of the part of story.
Descriptive writing vividly portrays a person,place,or thing in such a way that the reader can visualize the topic and enter into the writers experience.
So in narrative writing the reader is perfectly capable to tell you the plot of the story,while in descriptive writing does not have to be plot but something has become very easy for the reader to visualize.
2.How does the Maxim "Show don't tell" explain how one writes descriptively.
Illustrate with your own example.
I think,the famous Maxim is the one thing need to keep in mind when you undertake any kind of descriptive writing.
My example for this is "When I see my enemy I will show a big smile".
3.How do you as a writer make your language descriptive? How do you add depth and texture to a piece of writing?
I will make a good presentation or an excitement writing to relate,follow and encouraged what they had read I will add depth and texture to a piece of creative writing by adding like or then otherwise by comparing them.
4.Other than one word modifier,what other modifiers maybe employed in descriptive writing?
Other modifier of this adjectives,adverbs,noun,relative and prepositional.
